The DISCIPLINARY Competency: 

An understandable misunderstanding of faith integration is that it begins in the Bible. While the sentiment that undergirds this notion is right, this course explains reasons and ways to start with one’s area of academic preparation and the professor’s teaching assignments. An “anatomy of disciplines” is revealed, paving the way to identifying how scholar-practitioners can be faithful to their twin passions: the Christian faith and the area of learning into which God has placed them as stewards of wisdom and knowledge.

1. This course includes a 1-hour video presentation, notetaking guide, a reference list, relevant readings, and reflection | discussion prompts.
2. While this course applies directly to those employed in Christian institutions, it can also be adapted and applied by Christian educators in other settings.
